More Guitars 1986 and later

This page is a continuation from the Modern Guitars page.

As you can see, I do have a thing for green guitars. I am addicted to surf green Strats.

Below: G&L Legacy

G&L Legacy in belair green. I am not sure of the year; I have not taken the neck off to check it. This has a fairly flat fretboard, a 12 inch radius.

Below: 2003 Fender American Series Stratocaster

This is a 2003 Fender American Series Stratocaster. I am the second owner. The color is sky blue. This one has a maple fretboard. I have replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan SSL-1s California 50s.

For a few years Fender changed the name of the American Standard to the American Series. After a few years, the name was changed back to the American Standard.  This one is from that brief time when they were called the American Series.

A 1996 Fender American Stratocaster.  This one is completely stock for now. The color is sky blue. I have a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs Surf 60s pickups waiting to go into it.

Here is my newest acquisition. A 2013 Fender American Special Stratocaster in surf green.

Below: 1994 Fender Custom Shop Dick Dale Signature Stratocaster

First year of production model.  Heel is dated 6-27-1994.  All stock; no modifications. Comes with factory installed Custom Shop Fat 50s pickups and Dick's special wiring arrangement. Modern C neck profine and a 9 1/2 inch fretboard radius.

Nice toy for a Dick Dale fan.

Dick Dale autographed the body of this Strat

Pretty Cool!

Talk to you later,
