On this page I'll post some off set guitars. Those with off set waist, such as the Fender Jaguar.

This page like most others is a work in process.

Below: A Fender Jaguar. Original 1962-3 neck with a Wildwood body finished in olympic white. Formerly owned by Matt of the Coconauts.

Below: Harmony Bobkat

Here is a Harmony Bobkat. I bought this through the Aldens mail order catalog. I think that was in December 1963.  The gutiars Harmony sold through Aldens have a Holiday logo instead of Harmony. It has a red burst finish instead of the usual brownburst. Otherwise everything is the same. This was my first brand spaking new electric guitar.

Currently I have it set up for slide guitar.

2006 Fender AVRI 62 Jazzmaster

This 2006 production Fender American Vintage Reissue 62 Jazzmaster is in surf green It is  stock. I have added a buzz stop to it to tame the saddle noise.

2012 Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar

A 2012 Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar. Surf green.  Got it in July 2012. The discussion boards I frequent have been talking about this guitar (and the new Jazzmaster &  Mustang) for months. I decided I would try one out. I found a dealer in Florida (Lietz Music -- great guys) who got me one from their first shipment. The finish is polyurethane and flawless. The body is basswood, but the guitar has a good heft to it. It feels to be the same weight as my 2003 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. A good feel to the neck. The ends of the frets are well beveled, dressed and polished. The Duncan Designed pickups sound very good to me.

Below: Xaviere JT-100 Jazzmaster clone

This is how this Xaviere JT-100 looked with I got it.  The finish is sort of an aged (yellowed) surf green.  Nice Jazzmaster clone. I removed all the star decals. I replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster Quarter Pounders. Now it is a very nice Jazzmaster clone.

Below: Squier Cyclone

Here is a Squier Cyclone with a Lake Placid blue finish.  I reworded the neck and the frets to give it a better feel to play. I replaced the neck pickup with a Fender Mex Tex and the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan P-rail.  I removed the Chinese made pots and switch. Replaced those with CTS pots and a CRL switch.

This picture was taken before I swapped the pickups.

Below: Nash One Off Tikimaster

This jewel is a  Bill Nash custom build that is about 6 years old. At that time he only did One Off work for 2 clients. I was fortunate enough to get it from the guy Nash built it for. It is named the Tikimaster. The Tikimaster has a reverse headstock and a Jazzmaster style body. It has Jason Lollar P-90s at the neck and bridge position. The middle pickup is a Jason Lollar black face Strat pickup. It has a special switching to allow for all three pickups to play at the same time. It has a Stratocaster style bridge with Graph Tech saddles.  Compound radius neck.

The Tikimaster has custom tiki decal designs with jewel eyes. The volume and tone knobs are either wood or wood look.  The tremolo arm has a bamboo casing. A tiki lounge dream guitar!  You can hear this guitar featured in several songs from the North of Malibu CD.
