Squier Guitar Photos

On this page, I will put some of my Squier guitars. Most are all project guitars I have assembled. There will be a few that are pretty much stock with just a few changes done to make them more playable or enhance their sound.  I am just starting construction on this page. So please bear with me. Things will change from time to time (as I am able to photograph some of my older project guitars).

I will start this page off with an 80s era Squier Bullet. These have a 7/8th size body. This particular model has a Strat type body and a Tele type headstock. Note the star in the logo. The "star" Bullets (MiJ and MIK) have great necks if you like them slim and flat. There is no pickguard (controls rear mounted). All in all, these are fun little guitars. I have picked up a few of them over the years.

Love this pickguard.  Don't know who made it. Wish I did. I would like to get another.

The olympic white Stratocaster above is a 90s Squier Affinity. This was by bed guitar. I play guitar in bed to unwind and relax before I go to sleep. I chose this particular Strat because the Affinty has a thinner (than normal Fender specs) body. The liighter body felt more comfortable when I play laying in bed. Since I play unplugged, I could care less that the pickups and pots probably sound lousy.  I came across this black flowered pickguard and decided to doll up my bed guitar. I thought that pickguard really looks sharp with the olympic white body.

I got the pickguard (and one other pink pickguard) off a bass player who had owned it a long time. He could not recall where he got it. I have never seen this pickguard any where else, so I do not know who made it. I would really like to get another or see if there are other colors in this Hawaiian flower pattern. For now the search goes on for another pickguard like this one.

Above is a 1995 Squier Standard.

A prior owner scratched off the Squier logo and left the small Fender logo! This one has a nice feel and I did not have to modify the neck. It had a decent tone, so I have left it stock, except for the pickguard. This is an older (1995) Squier Stratocaster and is not a bad guitar at all.
