Fender AVRI Stratocasters

I really enjoy playing the Fender AVRI series guitars. Here are those that I currently have.
It took me a while to get used to the 7 1/4 inch fretboard radius agin. I had not played one in a very long time. At first, I would shove the strings right off the neck due to the sharply curved fretboad and I bent the strings out of tune. That forced me to lighten up my touch (not a bad thing). Now that I have gotten used to the vintage style necks, I love them. As a kid I thought they were too thick and too slow. I wanted fast slim necks. Now I realize I am just as fast on the thick neck as on a thin neck. (It's the player not the guitar that creates speed.) I get more tone from these necks. They also are more comfortable to play these days. My fingers are a little stiffer now than they were 40 years ago.
