I will write more later. For now, it is enough to say that this is page 3 of my 1986 and later guitars.

Below: 62 Reissue Made in Japan

This Fender 62 reissue was made in Japan. It is Lake Placid blue. It had a MIJ 57 reissue neck on it. It had Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups. I think those suck out the tone. I took them off and put on Fender 57/62 pickups. The prior owner had replaced the stock Kahler tremolo with a vintage 6 screw tremolo.
Below 57 Reissue made in Japan

Here is a Fender 57 reissue Stratocaster made in Japan. It is Olympic white. This one still has the Kahler tremolo. It also still has the stock Fender Japan 57 reissue pickups.
Below: 1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster

1996 Fender Standard Stratocaster made in Mexico. Looks like the prior owner tried to relic this one with a sander. Did not bother to take the pickguard off. There are sander marks along the edges of the pickguard. I was going to refinish this one in Taos turquoise, but have not gotten around to that.
Below: Peavey Raptor Plus EXP
Here is an older Peavey Raptor Plus. This is an older model. I have had it for a while (probably 20 years). Nice feeling neck. It is a compount profile. In the first few frets it is a very comfortable C profile then gradually shifts to a flatter D profile. That makes this neck comfortable for playing well down then neck. This Strat clone has a beautiful transparent red finish. Overall it is a very nice guitar to play. I like it as it is, so I have not modified it. I did however shape the nut for a more comfortable feel when playing.

Here is a Fender Japan 70s reissue Stratocaster in Olympic white. Has a Jimi at Woodstock vibe to it.
